HellBent Studio

Brand positioning, messaging and a website audit that refocused an architecture studio on luxury coastal and mountain homes in Maine.

HellBent Studio residential architecture
Overview

HellBent Studio, led by architect Jamie Broadbent, had nearly two decades of strong work but relied mostly on referrals, and its website still emphasized commercial projects. The studio wanted to be known for luxury residential design, especially coastal and mountain homes in Maine.

Our Vernacular team led a discovery session to find what set its residential work apart. Three themes stood out: sustainable innovation, a sense of adventure, and homes that sit naturally in Maine's landscapes. Those became a refined voice and tone and a messaging framework for everything the studio says.

We then audited the website against that new focus, covering technical SEO for shelter-industry searches, design measured against luxury architecture standards, and the copy itself. With those recommendations in place, the site speaks directly to people planning an exceptional home and draws inquiries for the work the studio wants most.
