Becoming Jewelry
Library-card necklace packaging and a storefront sign for a Kennebunk jewelry maker, designed so the box feels like part of the gift.

Becoming Jewelry makes handmade pieces in Kennebunk, Maine, and pairs each one with a literary quote. That pairing gave our First Pier team the idea for the whole packaging suite when the brand opened its first downtown storefront.
The necklace cards look like well-used library cards, with a distressed texture on the type, printed on an ivory cotton paper chosen to feel like a keepsake. The same stock carried across note cards, jewelry care cards, oversized luggage-style thank-you tags that recall an old ticket stub, and "Made in Maine" stickers. Out front, a paneled wood sign gave the new shop the same handcrafted feel.
The result is packaging customers hold on to. It reinforces what the brand stands for, keeping the people and moments that matter, and makes every order feel closer to a gift than a delivery.
