We’re looking for a marketing specialist with three to six years of experience in an agency, in-house, or freelance setting who shines in one or two of the areas below and is curious about the rest.
Account & client management. You enjoy being the person clients call first. You build and nurture client relationships, lead meetings and presentations, keep projects on time and within scope and budget, and represent client needs to our design, development, content, and performance marketing teams. You spot risks early, set clear goals and priorities, and find new ways to grow existing accounts.
Paid media & advertising. You plan, launch, and optimize campaigns across search and social platforms, manage budgets with care, and translate performance data into clear next steps. You know how to connect ad spend to the goals and KPIs a client cares about.
Content, copy, & social. You write compelling, original copy for websites, blogs, email, social media, and ads, and you can adapt your voice to different audiences. You help develop content strategies, keep content calendars on track, manage social accounts, apply SEO best practices, and edit with a sharp eye for grammar and brand voice.
Analytics, SEO, & ecommerce. You enjoy combining data from multiple sources into reports that tell a clear story. You’re comfortable in tools like Google Analytics and spreadsheets, understand how search visibility is earned, and ideally have experience helping ecommerce brands, including Shopify stores, grow online.
Whatever your specialty, you communicate clearly in writing and in person, stay organized while juggling multiple projects, and work well both independently and as an active member of a team. You’re motivated, self-directed, and eager to contribute, including on the smaller tasks that keep a project moving. A bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, journalism, or a related field is a plus.
LOCATION
Applicants must live in Southern Maine.
All roles are hybrid, combining remote work with some in-person time at our downtown Portland office.
